All paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Quarterly, 6-month and yearly billing is charged in advance at the discount shown and renews at the same discounted rate for the same period. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing and keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for — see the Terms of Service and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
ScrapeOra is software. It provides no third-party content of its own — you import product data only from suppliers you are authorized to use.
Questions people actually ask
What counts as a “product”?expand_more
Each product collected in a run counts once against your daily allowance. Re-syncing the same product tomorrow counts again, because we visit the supplier again to fetch the current price and stock.
What happens when I hit a limit?expand_more
The run stops at the limit and tells you in plain words what it delivered — 20 of 55, say. Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost; the allowance refills at midnight UTC.
Do I need a card to start?expand_more
No. The free plan needs only an email address and includes the whole import-to-publish flow, so you can test it against your own suppliers before paying anything.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?expand_more
Nothing is deleted. Schedules and store connections above the new plan's limits are paused, not removed — and they come straight back if you upgrade again, without reconnecting anything.
Do I need an account before I pay?expand_more
Yes — create your free ScrapeOra account first, then choose a plan. Checkout opens in a secure Gumroad window with your email filled in, and your plan switches on in your account automatically, usually within a minute.
Who am I actually buying from?expand_more
Payments are handled by Gumroad, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Gumroad takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT in your country, and emails your receipt and invoice. We never see or store your card details.
Can I change plan mid-cycle?expand_more
Yes, from your Gumroad membership page (Settings → Billing → Manage billing). Upgrades apply immediately: you pay the new price less a credit for the unused part of your current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep what you bought until it runs out.
How do I cancel?expand_more
Any time, in a couple of clicks: Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription opens your Gumroad membership page, and every Gumroad receipt links to it too. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for; after that the account moves to Free and nothing is deleted.
How do quarterly, 6-month and yearly billing work?expand_more
They are the same subscription, charged for a longer period at the discount shown on the switch. Each renews automatically for the same period at the same discounted amount unless you cancel first, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A first payment on any billing period is covered by the 14-day money-back guarantee in the refund policy.
What does “Request a custom connector” mean?expand_more
On Pro and above you can ask, from inside the app, for a supplier catalog to be added to the shared Connectors. If we add it, it appears there as a regular connector for everyone on an eligible plan. It is a feature of the software, fulfilled at our discretion — not consulting or custom development, and no request is guaranteed.
