How to bulk import a supplier catalog

5 min readBy the ScrapeOra teamUpdated 28 October 2026

To bulk import a supplier catalog, paste a category link or search the supplier, and ScrapeOra imports many products at once, each with its full listing. You review them, apply your pricing, and publish in bulk, instead of adding products one at a time.

This guide shows how to import in volume while keeping control of what goes live.

What you need

  • A ScrapeOra account. Your plan sets how many products you can import per day.
  • A supplier connected, by API key or by a supplier-store link.
  • A store connected, to publish to.

1. Point ScrapeOra at a catalog

Paste a category or collection link, or search an official-API supplier's catalog. ScrapeOra collects every product on the pages you point it at, following products rather than keywords.

Point at a catalog, import in bulk, then publish.

2. Watch the full listings stream in

Products stream in live as they are found, each with its photos, variants, SKUs, price and stock. A product that is missing a name and a price is skipped rather than imported half-empty.

3. Review and price

Review the imported products, remove any you do not want, and apply your pricing rule to all of them at once. Your daily product limit tells you how many you can import in a day.

Each bulk import is a run you can open and review.

4. Publish and schedule

Publish the selected products to your store in bulk, then put the import on a schedule so the whole catalog stays in sync. Re-importing updates the same products rather than duplicating them.

Common problems and fixes

The import stopped at my daily limit
The run tells you what it delivered, for example 200 of 500. The allowance refills at midnight UTC, or you can raise your plan.
I imported products I did not want
Review the run and remove them before publishing, or paste a narrower category link next time.
Some products were skipped
Products without a name and a price are skipped on purpose, and listed so you can check them.

Frequently asked questions

How many products can I import at once?
Up to your plan's daily product limit. The run counts each product collected once against the allowance.
Do bulk imports create duplicates?
No. Each product is matched to a stable source key, so re-importing updates the same product.
Can I bulk import to more than one store?
Yes. Import once, then publish the catalog to several stores, each on its own schedule.
