How to connect Printify to WooCommerce
To connect Printify to WooCommerce, save a Printify personal access token in ScrapeOra, connect your WooCommerce store with a REST API key, import your shop's products, and publish them with your pricing applied. ScrapeOra then keeps the catalogue in sync and can place and track your orders.
This guide takes about ten minutes and needs no code.
What you need
- A ScrapeOra account. The free plan is enough to set this up.
- A Printify account with a shop, and a Printify personal access token.
- A WooCommerce store on HTTPS where you can create a REST API key.
1. Create a Printify token
In Printify, open My profile, then Connections, and create a personal access token. Save it in ScrapeOra under your saved keys. It is encrypted on arrival and never shown again.
2. Create a WooCommerce REST API key
In WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce, then Settings, Advanced, REST API, and Add key. Choose an administrator, set Permissions to Read and Write, and generate the key. Keep the Consumer key (ck_) and Consumer secret (cs_); WooCommerce shows the secret only once.
3. Connect your WooCommerce store
In ScrapeOra, open Add store and choose WooCommerce. Enter your store address over HTTPS, the Consumer key and the Consumer secret, then pick a schedule and connect.

4. Import, price and publish
Import your Printify shop's products, apply a pricing rule so your retail price is set from the variant cost, and publish to WooCommerce. If a token can see several shops, pick the right one when you connect.
5. Keep it in sync and fulfil orders
Put the import on a schedule so catalogue changes flow through. Turn on automatic ordering so each paid WooCommerce order is sent to Printify, with tracking written back. Set your Printify order approval to Manual if you want orders to wait for you.
Common problems and fixes
- A token can see several shops
- Pick the right shop when you connect, or pass it on import, so products come from the shop you mean.
- WooCommerce returns Not found
- Check the address points at the WordPress site, and that permalinks are not set to Plain under Settings and Permalinks.
- Orders are not being placed
- Automatic ordering is off by default, so turn it on in the store's settings. Only a paid order is ever sent.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Printify charge when ScrapeOra places an order?
- Yes. Confirming a Printify order charges your Printify billing method. Only an order you have already been paid for is ever sent.
- Do I track stock for Printify products?
- No. Printify produces on demand, so ScrapeOra keeps variants available and syncs catalogue changes instead of counting stock.
- Can I use Printful too?
- Yes. Printful connects the same way through its official API, so you can run both.
