To do dropshipping on Squarespace, connect your site to ScrapeOra with a Commerce API key, import products from your suppliers, and publish them with your pricing applied. ScrapeOra then keeps prices and stock in sync on a schedule.

What you need

A ScrapeOra account.
A Squarespace site on a Commerce plan.
A developer API key with Products and Inventory access.
A supplier to import from, such as CJdropshipping, Printful or Printify.

1. Create a Squarespace API key

In Squarespace, go to Settings, Advanced, Developer API keys, and generate a key. Give it read and write access to the Products API and the Inventory API. The key is shown once, so keep it safe.

2. Connect your Squarespace store

In ScrapeOra, open Add store and choose Squarespace. Paste the API key, then pick a schedule and connect.

3. Connect a supplier and import

Save your supplier's API key, or paste a product link from a supplier store, then import products. The full listing comes in with photos, variants, SKUs, price and stock.

4. Price, publish and keep in sync

Apply your pricing rule, publish to Squarespace, and put the import on a schedule so prices and stock stay current. You see exactly what changed after each run.

Common problems and fixes

Squarespace returns 401: The key was revoked or lacks Products access. Generate a new key with read and write access to the Products and Inventory APIs.
The connection needs a Commerce plan: The Commerce API is available on a Squarespace Commerce plan. Upgrade the site's plan, then create the key.
A product is missing a price: Products without a title or price are skipped and listed in the push report. Fill the missing value and re-run.
