How to import products from a Shopify store
To import products from a supplier that runs on Shopify, paste a product or collection link into ScrapeOra, let the full listing come in, apply your pricing rule, and publish to your own store. This works for a supplier whose terms allow you to list their products, without an API key from them.
This guide shows the flow and what to check.
What you need
- A ScrapeOra account.
- A store of your own to publish to, such as Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce.
- Product or collection links from the supplier's Shopify store, which you are authorized to sell.
1. Connect your own store
Open Add store and connect the store you sell in, with its credentials. This is where the imported products will be published.

2. Paste a product or collection link
Paste a product link from the supplier's Shopify store to import one item, or a collection link to import many. ScrapeOra reads the public pages and brings in the title, description, photos, variants, SKUs, price and stock.
3. Set your pricing
Apply a markup rule so your price is set from the supplier's price automatically, with a minimum price and a price ending if you want. You can rewrite the title and description in your brand voice.
4. Publish and keep in sync
Publish to your store, then put the import on a schedule so ScrapeOra re-reads the supplier's store and keeps price and stock current. Re-importing updates the same products, never duplicates them.
Common problems and fixes
- A collection link imported the wrong products
- Paste the exact collection or product URL you want. A storewide or search link brings in more than you may intend.
- A product has no variants
- Open the product's own page and import from that link rather than a collection grid.
- Am I allowed to sell these?
- You are responsible for your right to sell the products and use their images and text. Dropshipping suppliers normally grant this to the stores they supply.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need the supplier's API key?
- No. ScrapeOra reads the public product pages, so you only need links you are authorized to use.
- Can I publish to WooCommerce or BigCommerce instead?
- Yes. Connect whichever store you sell in; the import works the same way.
- Will prices stay current?
- Yes. On each scheduled run ScrapeOra re-reads the supplier's pages and updates price and stock.
