How to import products from a WooCommerce store

5 min readBy the ScrapeOra teamUpdated 28 October 2026

To import products from a supplier that runs on WooCommerce, paste a product or category link into ScrapeOra, let the full listing come in, apply your pricing rule, and publish to your own store. This works for a supplier whose terms allow you to list their products, without an API key from them.

This guide shows the flow and what to check.

What you need

  • A ScrapeOra account.
  • A store of your own to publish to, such as Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce.
  • Product or category links from the supplier's WooCommerce store, which you are authorized to sell.

1. Connect your own store

Open Add store and connect the store you sell in, with its credentials. This is where the imported products will be published.

The ScrapeOra Stores page.
Connect your store from the Stores page.

3. Set your pricing and publish

Apply a markup rule so your price is set from the supplier's price automatically, then publish to your store. Re-importing updates the same products rather than creating duplicates.

4. Keep it in sync

Put the import on a schedule so ScrapeOra re-reads the supplier's store and keeps price and stock current, and shows you what changed after each run.

Common problems and fixes

A category link imported too much
Paste the exact category or product URL you want rather than a storewide link.
Prices look wrong
Set a minimum price in your rule so a low variant never underprices you, and the markup is applied on every run.
Am I allowed to sell these?
You are responsible for your right to sell the products and use their images and text. Dropshipping suppliers normally grant this to the stores they supply.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the supplier's REST API key?
No. ScrapeOra reads the public product pages, so you only need links you are authorized to use.
Can I import a whole category?
Yes. Paste a category link to import several products, then review them before publishing.
Will stock stay accurate?
Yes. On each scheduled run ScrapeOra re-reads the pages and updates stock, so you stop selling items that sold out.
