How to rewrite product descriptions in your brand voice
To rewrite supplier titles and descriptions in your brand voice, switch on the listing writer when you connect a store and say, in plain language, how you want products written. It rewrites the title and description from the supplier's facts on publish. Your price, cost, SKU and stock are always left as the authoritative values.

What you need
- A ScrapeOra account on a paid plan, where the listing writer is included.
- A store connected, and products to publish.
1. Turn on the listing writer
When you connect a store, open the Advanced settings and switch on the option to enhance products before publishing. It is included with your plan, so there is no key to bring.
2. Say how you want products written
Write, in plain language, what you want changed, for example a friendly and punchy brand voice, or a specific tone and length. The instruction is applied to every product on publish.
3. Publish and review
The rewrite is applied as products publish. It writes original text from the supplier's facts, so it does not invent specs or claims, and the raw price, SKU and stock stay authoritative. A preview lets you check the result before it goes live.
4. Keep it consistent
The result is cached, so re-publishing the same products does not rewrite them again. With the writer off, products publish with the supplier's own description, or none if you prefer.

- The listing writer is included on paid plans. Check your plan on the pricing page.
- A rewrite changed a detail I needed
- It writes from the supplier's facts and never touches price, SKU or stock. Tighten your instruction, or edit the product before publishing.
- I want the supplier's original text
- Turn the writer off for that store and the supplier's own description is used instead.
